Description
The VBT-KI „Cable internal“ is our proven post-tension system for bonded-strand applications.
Installation
Blank strands are placed into a metal or plastic duct. After stressing of the complete tendon the remaining space between the strands and the duct will be grouted by cement mortar. The maintain working corrosion protection the strands need to be completely covered by the grout.
Electrically isolated tendon
Using ducts made of plastic and performing pre-defined modifications in the region of the anchorages the post-tensioning system can easily converted into an electrically isolated version.
